Today in class we did the following:

□ 1. Vocabulary words 1 - 10

□ 2. Homework: Vocabulary words 1 – 10 x 3, defs x 1, 2 sentences using a vocabulary word.

 

1.      scholars: smart people who have studied a lot

2.     temple: a building where people go to pray or worship

3.     uncover: to find something hidden and show it

4.     ancient: very old, from a long time ago

5.     link: something that connects one thing to another

6.     seeker: someone who looks for something

7.     translate: to change words into another language

8.     triumph: a big success or win

9.     communication: sharing information with others

 10. image: a picture or visual representation

Dear Parents, Welcome back. It's been a great first day of school. I'm Teacher Ari and I am the new teacher for 5I1. Today in class we did an introduction, went over the rules, and made name tags. There's no homework this weekend. Next Monday we'll be starting with the story The Case of the Gasping Garbage. Homework: Problem-Solution Essay final draft, OKSensay assignment  The Problem-Solution Essay should be typed and printed out on the letter-head was sent in the homeroom LINE groups.
